Transparent methodology
How ShopWithFun Reviews works
ShopWithFun Reviews summarizes recurring public-feedback patterns so readers can research products without opening dozens of tabs. It does not replace veterinary, medical or professional advice.
1. Sources
Evidence enters through approved public-source connectors. YouTube and similar public-reference sources remain reference-only unless a separate governance policy explicitly authorizes numerical scoring.
2. Product attribution
Comments are linked to a canonical category, brand and product target. Product-specific source provenance, aliases and source context are used to recognize short owner comments while competitor-only, question-only and unrelated discussion are excluded.
3. Deduplication and safety
Duplicate source identifiers and repeated content are removed. Unsupported medical claims, unsafe excerpts and insufficiently attributable discussion are excluded from public evidence.
4. Sentiment and themes
Relevant comments are categorized as owner experience, product opinion or comparison evidence, then classified by sentiment and category-specific themes.
5. Ratings
A numerical rating appears only when the source is score-eligible and minimum evidence requirements are satisfied. Reference-only pages deliberately display no numerical score.
Publication and corrections
New product pages require the existing draft, preview, gate, audit, lock and controlled-index workflow. Already-published pages may refresh automatically after the same controls pass. A controlled withdrawal route is retained for rollback.
